Toasters: Cast-in Aluminum Platen Heaters
A Foodservice Equipment Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of high volume commercial toasters had an application for toasting several types of bread for a restaurant chain. The restaurant chain served freshly prepared meals, so the toaster, without burning a product, had to quickly caramelize and toast the breads. The toaster product definition called for a clamshell design that would handle large volumes of product and be capable of toasting several types of bread at the same time.


Fuel Oil and Lube Oil Systems
The Challenge: For one customer, contaminants in a lubrication system were corroding the immersion heater sheath and causing early heater failure.
Our Solution: We provided a wide variety of time-tested oil heating solutions. The customer chose to switch to a higher grade stainless steel sheath material and replace the thermostat with a sensor and PID control system.
